Happy Birthday, Feminist Press

The very wonderful Powell's Books is having a special Birthday Sale in honor of The Feminist Press.

The Feminist Press is an independent nonprofit literary publisher that promotes freedom of expression and social justice. Founded in 1970, the press began by rescuing "lost" works by writers such as Zora Neale Hurston and Charlotte Perkins Gilman and established their publishing program with books by American writers of diverse racial and class backgrounds, and, since, have also brought works from around the world to North American readers.

In honor of their 40th anniversary, for a limited time, save 30% on some of our favorite titles from Feminist Press.

Check it out. I recommend The Yellow Wallpaper by Charlotte Perkins Gilman
