Jason's Positive Protest Against Hate Speech & the Westboro Baptist "Church"

Jason Connell, a student at University of Illinois at Chicago, finds a novel way to turn a visit by the Westboro Baptist Church and Fred Phelps into a positive event.

Well done, Jason, and congratulations to all organized, gave to and helped out at this event. Well done, indeed.

Fine work there Jason, and thanks for the link, fullcirclers.

I love the emphasis on a positive message, and particularly using the h8sters power of publicity against them. The donations to human rights and LGTB organizations in the name of the WBC was an especially tasty note. :)

Wish the film had shown more of the other people there and especially their signs. The "Free Hugs" girl in the background was a nice sample though.
