I think if you watch the video again you'll see that he is making fun of the kind of men who would try and take advantage of these young, idealistic girls, and not suggesting that that this was (or is) his own attitude.
In my experience, the guy is not sexist. He married a professional women (and often says that he "married up") he has a daughter and he is supportive of the women who work with and for him. I've never known anyone to speak of him with anything but respect.
...and you are quite right in the general sense; anyone who cynically tries to take advantage of a young woman's dedication to a cause should be called on this including any Pagan men (or women) who try and sleep with their young students as a part of their "training". That sort of thing goes on far less then it used to in the 60's and 70's, in part, because the older, more experienced Pagans will not stand for such abuse of students in their community.
