Happy Earth Day!

This is a photo of a River Kingfisher taken by John&Fish. I happen to think he is one of the best bird photographers at Flickr. I am posting this in honor of Earth Day. We are going to hear both sad and happy news about Mamma Gaia today, and I offer these photos as something to inspire you to formulate your own plans on how to best protect the future of our planet.

Happy Spring to you and yours,

Sia

The Dream

The Dream

The dream was always running ahead of me.
To catch up, to live for a moment in unison with it,
that was the miracle.

My thanks to LynchburgVirginia at flickr for both the photo and the quote to go with it. Go to his webpage to see the larger version. This moment is so lovely and so peaceful it took my breath away.

I often use photos, images and art in my meditation and ritual work. I react very deeply to images - it is one of the reasons why I love the net.

Go well, stay well.
