Carol P. Christ on Pagan Values

Today, I would like to offer a quote from Carol P. Christ on Pagan values:

Nurture life. Walk in love and beauty. Trust the knowledge that comes through the body. Speak the truth about conflict, pain, and suffering. Take only what you need. Think about the consequences of your actions for seven generations. Approach the taking of life with great restraint. Practice great generosity. Repair the web

Pagan Values Month:

MetaPagan is following some of the posts on this topic. Their list seems to be limited only to those essays with the words "Pagan values" in the title and they are not searching Live Journal where some interesting posts are found but it's a place to start. Another place to look would be Alltop - Pagan news.

Go well, stay well,

Sia

Hey Sia,

Much, not all but much, of the MetaPagan coverage is due to my placing as many posts as I knew about or could track down via a few google searches into the MetaPagan Feed by tagging them on delicious.

The Live Journal posts haven't made it on there because I am not on live journal and only follow a few blogs from there, so am fairly Live Journal illiterate?

Thanks for the Alltop source though!

Peace, and a Happy Flag Day!
Pax

Hi Pax,

LJ is a bear to search, I quite agree. Can I help? Some Pagani to watch are:

Rowan Fairgrove: http://rowanf.livejournal.com/
C.O.G. Priestess and activist

I've posted her LJ notes about Kiva for Pagan Values month at my own blog today.

and

author and philosophy professor Brenden Myers:

Yezdra wrote on The Value of Deconstruction for Pagan Values Month:

most Pagans would know her as teaching Priestess and author Thorn Coyle

Academic Pagans - a group
http://community.livejournal.com/academicpagans/

Erynn (who teaches at PantheaCon) writes on Celtic Reconstruction and LBT issues:

If you wish to list any of my essays at MetaPagan I believe that the essay on The Witches' Ball and Pagan Values and the one on Fighting Fair would be the most useful to the community as a whole.

Again, thank you so much for doing this. It has been a very fruitful and enjoyable experience.

Consider yourself hugged,

Sia
